Over the past twenty-five years, our lawyers have advised governments and non-governmental organizations on international law issues and projects. We have drafted and advised on international fiscal legislation and treaties for various foreign governments. Our singular knowledge and experience in the field of international finance and "offshore" transactions has yielded leading roles in landmark cases in the world of international terrorist financing and international fraud. Among them is the settlement of business claims by hull insurers and Pan American World Airways against the Government of Libya for the bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland.
Our group members include the authors of over a dozen international finance laws and scores of regulations concerning trusts, banking, insurance, mutual funds, companies and confidentiality. They have also assisted in other legislative and government projects in the Eastern Caribbean States and other countries around the globe, such as Madagascar, Seychelles, and Fiji.
Timothy Scrantom has been engaged in numerous international economic development projects ranging from creating or implementing legislation for immigrant investor programs in North America to the design of free-trade and enterprise development zones in the Caribbean.
